Rara Lake Trekking

The Rara Lake  is the biggest and deepest fresh water lake in the Nepal Himalayas. It is the main feature of the Rara National Park, located in the Jumla and Mugu Districts.[1] In September 2007, the lake was declared a Ramsar site, covering 1,583 ha (6.11 sq mi) including the surrounding wetland.

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (150m/490 ft): 1 hour
Day 02: Fly from Nepalgunj to Jumla (2,540m/8,334ft): 20 minutes
Day 03: Trek from Jumla to Bumra (2850m/9351ft)
Day 04: Trek from Bumra to Pina (2440m/ 8006ft)
Day 05: Trek from Pina to Gamagadhi (2095m)
 Day 06: Trek from Gamagadhi to Rara Lake (3010m/9876ft)
Day 07: Explore Rara Lake
Day 08: Trek from Rara Lake to Khatyar Khola Camp (2965m)
Day 09: Trek from Khatyar Khola Camp to Ghoro Singha (3050m/10007ft)    
Day 10: Trek from Ghoro Singha to Sinja (2490m/ft)
Day 11: Trek from Sinja to Chala Chaur (2980m/9,777ft)
Day 12: Trek from Chala Chaur to Chauriya Chaur (3055m)
Day 13: Trek from Chauriya Chaur to Jumla
Day 14: Fly from Jumla to Nepalgunj
Day 15: Trek from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu
